FTC Skatebook Release Party 6/26/08

Went to the FTC Skatebook release party. Got a very nice book. Got a ticket for an open container which was in my pocket…and whatever. Flaked on the after party. Went home. The end. Here’s some pics. I’m pissed.

Big weekend lined up…starting tomorrow nite!

Tons going on this weekend…well, I’m counting Thursday! 
First off, Thrusday (6/26) down at FTC, Skatebook release party down at FTC (Haight @ Clayton) from 7-10. Kelch is gonna be in town too…The afterparty is down at Milk Bar (Haight @ Stanyan). Get there earlier or skate over there or catch Muni because parking in the Haight SUCKS!!! Trust me, I used to live there for a few years. Nothing nice!

Friday…Smyth and the Girl Team is gonna be in town for SUDS. Skate demo, live art, bands and tomfoolery. All this down at the Mezzanine 444 Jessie Street. Check out the flyer for more details on that. Festivities pop off at 10pm.

Last and certainly not least, Young Cole’s Birthday BBQ bash down at the Potrero Del Sol skatepark. Heads are going to be rolling in deep so stop by and say hello. After party down at Pop’s bar (24th st. @ York). Three nites of getting faded. Sleep on Sunday.

Young Cole’s Birthday BBQ 6-28-08

Set your calendars you bastards! Young Cole’s throwin’ his Birthday BBQ up here in the City…actually down at the new skatepark up in Potrero Hill. Should be a fresh day of chillin’ with the homies, skatin’ and talking trash. After the BBQ, the after party is gonna be down at Pops.

Misson Skateboards x Carnaval 5/25/08

Come out and join Mission Skateboards Skateshop as they join on in with the Carnaval festivities. Head on over to O’Connell Tech at 2355 Folsom St. (between 19th & 20th Streets) on Sunday, May 25,2008. There’s gonna be ramps, obstacles, scantly clad Carnaval revelers and who knows what else. Strike thru and don’t forget to check out the skateshop over at 3045 24th St. (at Treat) and say ‘Whaddup!’

Man down: Puppet’s broken leg.

Well…word spreads pretty damn quick thru the grapevine…haha, that was funny…anyways, as most of y’all already know (and those that don’t) young puppet hit up the new La Raza park with Thorin and Chris Dumb and came broke his right leg (right above the ankle)…check out the pic below. I heard from Tee and Scotty that it was a gnarly break. Sooooo…Pup’s home now, say whaddup to dude. Hit up Scotty’s myspace or give him a call and keep his spirits up.
